Digital innovations provide new solutions for complex societal challenges, helping to keep the city a pleasant place to live for everyone. Through the Bredata master plan, the City of Breda has made its ambition clear: it aims to be a leader in digitalization. But in true Breda style: putting people first.
gr8 agency helps us clearly convey the Bredata story, which focuses on the digitalization of society, to various target groups. After several workshops, a powerful narrative was developed that forms the foundation for communication about digitalization in and for Breda. It's a topic that affects many people and can be quite challenging from a societal perspective, making precise communication essential.
Strategy and storylines Bredata
‘Breda is the most digitally inclusive city in the Netherlands.’ That’s the ambition of Bredata. But how do you convey such a bold topic to the public, ensuring the ambition becomes more than just a ‘good plan’? With 15 ongoing digitalization projects and numerous stakeholders (and thus, target groups), defining the right communication structure and messages is no easy task. Who do you tell what, and how?
This communication challenge brought the City of Breda to gr8 agency. Our goal: to find the right content and bring structure to the communication. Through multiple workshops, we helped team members focus their communication efforts. We crafted the underlying narratives and shaped key communication moments, such as the Smart City Expo in Barcelona. Today, we continue to support the City of Breda and the Bredata team in executing their communication strategy.
